Jihad Sifa Alfakir
Jihad Sifa Alfakir is a doctoral researcher at the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence within the project “Sexualities, Political Orders and Revolutions in Africa”. He is a member of the Intersectionality Junior Research Group and Junior Fellow at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS). His PhD research is an interdisciplinary analysis of the context of political transformations and the emergence of an intersectional questioning at different periods of these transformations. Among his research interests are cultural politics in North Africa, activism and protest movements, Artivism, Memory, Migration, race and ethnicity, indigenous and decolonial epistemologies.
